GENERAL INFORMATION

ENTRY DETAILS

6.1. Free Entry: Free entries are allowed via post and treated equally to paid entries. Hand-delivered entries or bulk submissions are not accepted.
6.2. Free Entry Route:
To enter any competition for free, you must send a stamped, unenclosed letter including the following details:
• The name of the competition you wish to enter.
• The answer to the competition question (if applicable).

• Date of Birth
• Contact phone number
• Email address
6.2.1. Free entries will be treated equally to paid entries and will be included in the live draw in the same manner.
• Important Notes:
• Hand-delivered postal entries will not be accepted as valid.
• Bulk submissions of free entries will count as a single entry.
• Postal entries that do not meet the specified requirements will be disqualified.
• Non-barcoded everyday stamps are not valid for postal entries. Old-style first and second-class stamps are expired and will not be accepted.
• Free entry submissions must arrive before the competition closes to be included in the draw.
• If the competition reaches its maximum number of paid entries before your free entry is received, your entry will not be included in the draw.
• Standard competition terms and conditions apply for free entries.

6.3. Refunds: No refunds will be issued, except for entries submitted after a competition closes or if the competition is cancelled.
6.4.  Participants may enter a competition an unlimited number of times unless a specific limit on entries per person is stated for that competition. Creating multiple accounts to bypass entry caps will be considered a violation of fair use and may result in disqualification. Refunds will not be issued to individuals who create multiple accounts to exceed the maximum entry limit.
6.5. To complete an entry, participants must provide accurate contact details (including postal address, email address, and phone number) and payment information for the entry fee. Payment will be processed electronically upon submission of the entry.
6.6. The competition will close once the maximum number of entries is reached or when the closing date is met, whichever occurs first. The closing date may be brought forward if all entries are sold before the specified date. Competitions will not be extended beyond their original closing date.

PRIZE DETAILS

7.1. Ownership: Prizes are owned by the promoter until successfully handed over to the winner.
7.2. Collection: Winners must collect prizes from the promoter unless otherwise arranged. Proof of identity and entry will be required.
7.3. No Substitutions: Prizes cannot be exchanged or substituted.

Draw and Winner Selection

8 Live Draws: Winners are selected through a live draw, usually using a random number generator. Draw details are shared within 48 hours of competition closure.
8.1. Alternate Winner: If the winner cannot be contacted within seven days, an alternate winner may be selected. Once an Alternate Winner is selected, the original winner forfeits all rights to the prize and will no longer have any claim to it.

9. Lux Competitions complies with the Gambling Act 2005 and anti-money laundering regulations. Measures include:
9.1. Appointing a Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).
9.2. Verifying participant identities.
9.3. Refusing cash payments or anonymous accounts.

Liability and Amendment

10. Liability: The promoter is not responsible for losses resulting from incomplete entries, technical issues, or factors beyond its control.
